An Ernest classic, our Medium Rare Basque Cheesecake, is now available for pickup for your next party or celebration.
Ernest Medium Rare Basque Cheesecake, $75 (Serves 8-10)
To order, email us at cheesecake@ernestsf.com with your name, contact information, and requested date. Orders must be placed at least 24 hours in advance via email. Once you’ve placed your order, you’ll receive an email confirmation to arrange a pick up time and details. Each cheesecake serves 8-10 people. We currently only offer local pick up at Ernest Restaurant.
The Ernest cheesecake is a medium-rare Basque-style cheesecake. Luxuriously creamy and offering a hint of sweet orange blossom, our Ernest Cheesecake is always a hit.
Tips for Enjoying at Home:
Your cheesecake will be wrapped in the parchment paper it was baked in, cooked to “Medium Rare.” We recommend you leave it in the fridge until you are ready to slice.
To remove the cheesecake from the box, break down the sides of the box and gently slide the cake onto a cutting board.
Once removed from the box, gently tear away enough parchment to slice as much as you would like to enjoy. Run a sharp knife under hot running water. Make your first incision into the cake to cut a wedge.
After each slice, wipe off the blade with a paper towel and run under hot water before making your next slice for perfectly clean slices. Pick up your slice with the face of the knife or a serving utensil. Place on plate and serve immediately.
